He currently resides in Vigo, where he is preparing new projects for various markets, which will be published soon.

“The idea for Tamia and the Memories of the Dragon came about because I wanted to write a story with a dragon as the protagonist. But I wanted it to be a different kind of dragon than what stories usually portray, a friendly dragon, with its fears, its limitations, its personal challenges, its concerns… But it needed a complement, a human companion, and that’s how Tamia was “born.” Two children so different and yet so alike. Her way of seeing life, as a human, combined with the fantasy surrounding the dragon Sosoot, resulted in this comic. It reflects friendship, the process of maturing, the acceptance of loss, and so many other sensations and feelings that I have experienced in my personal life. Wrapped in a fantasy that immerses us in a wonderful world, full of unique beings to discover and adventures to experience.”

PAHITO

Pablo Cialoni, aka Pahito, is a comic book artist and designer from Rosario, Argentina. Armed with a sharp line and expressive characters, his style blends storytelling clarity with visual punch. He studied under legendary artists like Germán Peralta Carrasoni, Salvador Sanz, and Diego Agrimbau, forging a path all his own in the world of comics. Pahito is the illustrator behind Angelito y los orígenes de Central, Tamia and the Memories of the Dragon, and the epic sci-fi and horror Spinal Cord. When he’s not drawing skulls, dragons or football legends, he’s probably sketching something weirder.

“When David invited me to illustrate Tamia and the Memories of the Dragon, the story of a young girl traveling on vacation with her father, I never imagined the vast world we would end up creating. Little by little, the story led us to bring to life a universe filled with unique races and species, each with its own culture, distinct anatomy, and rules that shaped their existence.

Within this magical setting, Tamia and Sosoot journey across mysterious lands, facing challenges, helping the inhabitants of Damar, and uncovering new bonds with every adventure. The real artistic challenge lay in character design: it wasn’t just about creating visually striking figures, but about giving them a role and purpose within that fantastic ecosystem. This process allowed each design to feel solid, coherent, and at the same time, truly one of a kind.

In the end, every page doesn’t just tell a story—it also reflects the growth of its protagonists, who learn, transform, and strengthen their friendship as their journey unfolds.”
