“Lava or Licorice” is a fun, comedic and educational puppet game show intended for kids between the ages of 7-12. Spun off from the graphic novel series Lava or Licorice features characters Pineapple Pete, Dizzy Doom, Commander EKO, Dana Deathly, and new addition DJ Vinnie Volcano. Think Kids-Jeopardy meets The Floor is Lava.

Here’s a bit more about the in-world story of Lava or Licorice: In a hidden corner of the Digital Lizards of Doom universe, on a tropical beachy planet, DJ Vinnie Volcano welcomes you to watch a game show inside his “belly of flaming fire!” Demon and trickster, Pineapple Pete, is up to no good once again, trapping lovable Dizzy Doom, stoic Dana Deathly, and the ever-frustrated Commander EKO in jailed boxes dangling over molten hot lava! Oh no! (Oh wait, this isn’t lava at all, this is pizza sauce?!) The mission, as Pineapple Pete explains it, is: answer a question correctly, get a licorice point, answer it wrong, and get: the lava! Gain 5 licorice points to earn your freedom! Do you think our contestants will ever earn their freedom?!
